Method for making paste based on tetrabasic lead sulphate comprises adding compound selected from lactams and their derivatives to mixture of water and precursors of tetrabasic lead sulphate in order to control acyclic morphology of crystals. Method for making paste of active positive, non-shaped material based on crystals of tetrabasic lead sulphate, with controlled acyclic morphology, for the positive electrode of a lead-acid accumulator, comprises a step consisting of reacting mixture based on water and precursors of lead sulphate by submitting it to conditions of temperature and humidity sufficient to form acyclic crystals of tetrabasic lead sulphate; method also comprising adding compound selected from lactams and their derivatives to mixture in order to control acyclic morphology of the crystals. Independent claims are also included for paste made by said method; and positive electrode consisting of collecting support coated with said paste. |
