The electrode (10) of a device for producing passages (3) in the wall (2) of a blade (1) presents an end portion (12) in the form of a sector of an annulus with a centre (O) and a radius (R), then a middle portion (13) of evolutionary section and a back portion (16) which extends radially towards the exterior. The middle portion (13) presents at the side of the centre (O) a plane face (14) making an internal obtuse angle with the end portion. The electrode of a device for producing passages (3) in the wall (2) of a blade (1) comprises an electrode (10) carried by a mobile support (11). The electrode (10) pivots around an axis (17) passing through the centre (O) and perpendicular to the plane of the annulus during piercing.
