摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade a limit due to a response speed of a photodetector and to rapidly separate/detect optical signal pulses. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a photorefractive element 5 changing its refractive index by the irradiation of light, optical systems 2, 4 overlapping them on the photorefractive element after the optical path of the optical signal pulses 1 are separated to two parts and forming interference fringes, a reference light source 6 set up so as to be wavelength swept in a saw-tooth shape at a period of its integer times synchronized with the period of the optical signal pulse, sequentially liquid emitted to the interference fringes formed on the photorefractive element and diffracted in the directions of integer ways decided by its wavelength and interference fringes interval and integer pieces of photodetectors 9 spacially arranged for respectively detecting the light diffracted in the directions of the integer ways from the photorefractive element.
