PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic conference system that can execute an interactive operation. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an infrared LED panel 3, which constantly radiates infrared ray light toward the back side of a translucent face 2, a CCD camera 4, which image-picks up only infrared ray light that is made incident from the translucent face 2-side and a projector 45 projecting/ displaying an image (which does not contain infrared ray light) on the translucent face 2. When a user executes an operation in front of the translucent face 2, infrared reflected light quantity changes and therefore a controller 6 detects the change of reflected light quantity as detected image information based on the image pickup signal of the CCD camera 4, and executes various controls in accordance with operation information obtained based on the image information. The translucent face 2 is functioned as a display panel displaying the various images. |
