PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly upload a control software from a ROM and to eliminate the need for the management of the relation between an electronic component mounting installation and a control board, even when the control board is replaced and even after the control software in the ROM has been revised. SOLUTION: In a down-loading state where a control software is written to a ROM on a control board, a data input/output section reads data from an external storage medium (S10), the data are written in the ROM via a data processing section (S11), and a transfer parameter such as the size of the control software and its address or the like required for succeeding access, based on the write result is stored in another area of the ROM (S21). In an up-loading state where a control software is read from the ROM, the transfer parameter is read (S13), and the control software in the ROM is read based on the transfer parameter (S14) and stored in the external storage medium (S15). The transfer parameter of the control software is stored in each ROM for a succeeding up-loading. |
