PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent element with high practical performance. SOLUTION: An anode 3 is formed on a transparent substrate 2, and an organic hole carrying layer 4, an organic luminescent layer 5, and an organic electron carrying layer 6 are formed sequentially on the transparent substrate 2 and the anode 3 to form an organic EL(electroluminescent) layer 7, a cathode 8 crossing to the anode 3 through the organic EL layer 7 is formed on the organic EL layer 7, and a UV curing resin film 9 is formed so as to cover the organic EL layer 7 and the cathode 8. Since the UV curing resin 9 is solidified by illuminating ultraviolet rays, without unreasonably heating the organic EL layer 7, the generation and growth of a non-luminescent part is retarded. An electroluminescent element having good protecting function and high practical performance is obtained. |
