PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct display of the quantity of generated power or the quantity of stored charge of a wristwatch device having a power generating function with a liquid crystal display panel and to conduct display of the necessity of power generation or an alarm on occurrence of a stop of the wristwatch and the control of the amount of power generation and the amount of charge storage. SOLUTION: This wristwatch device has a reflection type polarizing plate 72, which is disposed above or below a time indicating part or in a part constituting a part of the time indicating part and, moreover, a light-modulating function part, which varies the ratio between a transmission facilitation axis and a reflection facilitation axis of the reflection type polarizing plate 72 for the light from the observer side or the light from the opposite side to the observer side, according to a state of power generation or an electric capacity, and the state of power generation or the electric capacity is displayed therein. |
