PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an over-run prevention system sing a PHS in which the setting of a station code can be easily attained by receiving the station code of each station from a base station set at a station by a PHS portable terminal owned by a passenger, and issuing warning when the station code matches the code of destination set by the passenger. SOLUTION: When a station code set for each station is transmitted from a base station 1 set at a station, a PHS portable terminal 3 carried by a passenger in a train 2 arriving at a platform 4 receives the transmitted station code, and issues warning when the station code matches a station code set by the passenger. That is, the station code set by a station code switch is controlled so as to be transmitted from the base station 1 of the PHS by a controller. The PHS portable terminal 3 data-converts the set station name into the station code, and rings a bell or vibrates a vibrator when the inputted station code matches the data for letting the passenger know that the destination is approaching. |
