PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform the correction of a paste character string at the time of quotation and to simplify quotation processing by compensating a pair of parentheses that are placed between a character string to be transferred or copied on the character string. SOLUTION: A quotation method has a function which simply puts a quotation character string in parenthesis symbols that are previously registered and pastes it. That is, it stores information about a pair of parentheses to be used when a character string is quoted from a quotation document that is a quotation destination, compensates the stored pair of parentheses before and behind the character string and transfers it when the character string is transferred onto a document of a transfer destination. A procedure to transfer a character string to a transfer destination document is performed by putting a parenthesis pair, i.e., '"' that is previously stored in a transfer destination document (S1), putting a character string stored in a character string which is 'It is a character string to be quoted.' in the transfer destination document (S2) and putting a parenthesis pair, i.e., '"' that is subsequently stored in the transfer destination document (S3). |
