PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which a removable suction grill can be easily removed from a front panel and can be cleaned. SOLUTION: In an air conditioner in which bearings 3a are arranged at both ends of an upper surface front section of a front surface panel 3 installed at a front surface of a main body base, and provided with a suction port at its front surface and a blowing-out port at a lower part of the front surface, a rear surface of the upper part is provided with a supporting shaft 4a inserted into each of the bearings 3a from above and there are provided a suction grill 4 to be installed at the front surface of the front surface panel 3 and a holding member 5 for rotatably holding the supporting shaft 4a with the bearings 3a, opening or closing upper openings at the bearings 3a while being slid in a forward or rearward direction and restricting an engagement or a disengagement of the suction grill 4, there is provided a handle member 7 at an extremity end while being continuous to the holding member 5, an operating lever 6 moved up and down along the front surface of the front panel 3 is arranged and then the suction grill 4 is restricted in its engagement or disengagement under the upward-directed or downward-directed operation of the handle member 7. |
