PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for IC card which can be produced at a low cost and can surely prevent, a connector cover from slipping off. SOLUTION: This connector is equipped with a housing 5 made of insulating resin, furnished with a card-insertable hole through which an IC card C is inserted and a metallic connector cover 11 which has a U-shaped section formed by bending a pair of sidewalls 11c and 11d approx. at a right angle, covers the oversurface of the housing 5, and can be locked with fixing pawls 15A and 15B formed rigidity on the side faces of the housing 5. Small locking pieces 16A-16F cut up at a right angle toward the housing 5 are formed rigid at the four corners of the cover 11, as viewed from over the housing 5 and are inserted into locking holes 17A-17F provided in the corresponding pat on the surface of the housing 5. |
