PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembling man-hours and improve productivity, by providing in a PC card connector, a means which can selectively attach and detach a PC card guide, corresponding to plural kinds of card and a connector body by engagement from an upper part of the connector body of the PC card guide. SOLUTION: If a PC card guide 52 is lowered in a direction shown by an arrow D from an upper part of a connector body 51 mounted on a circuit board 15, a connecting part of the guide 52 covers an insulating body of the connector body 51. When a hook 511b of the connector body 51 and an opening window 52f are engaged, the guide 52 is positioned and fixed to the connector body 51. A required PC card connector 5 mounted on a circuit board 15 can be made by soldering the connector body 51 to the circuit board 15. In this PC card connector 5, when it is inserted, the PC card is guided, by a guide groove 52c of the guide 52 and a guide groove 22d of the connector body 51, and reliable connection between the PC card, the connector body 51 and also the circuit is realized. |
