PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a velocity curve setting device in electronic keyboard musical instruments capable of easily making a velocity curve according to player's taste. SOLUTION: This setting device is composed of a pattern storage part 1, in which a plurality of velocity curve patterns are stored beforehand, a velocity pattern selection part 2 which selectively takes out desired one from the various velocity curve patterns stored in the pattern storage part 1, a weakest value input part 3a and a strongest value input part 3b, which input a velocity value at a time of weakest strike of key and a velocity value at a time of strongest strike of key respectively, a velocity curve creating part 4 which creates a velocity curve by allocating the weakest velocity value and the strongest velocity value to the velocity curve selected at the velocity pattern selection part 2, and a velocity curve storage part 5 in which the created velocity curve is stored. And, a player can obtain a suitable velocity curve to his taste by selecting a desired the velocity pattern, and inputting the velocity value at a time of weakest strike of key and the velocity value at a time of strongest strike of key. |
