PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-fixing device capable of preventing the change of the surface temp. of the heat-fixing device on delivery of a recording sheet, and always obtaining a fixed image with the constant image quality, in the heat fixing device performing the fixation of the unfixed toner image by means of allowing the recording sheet to be put between the heat fixing member and the pressure member. SOLUTION: On assumption that this heat fixing device, provided with the rotary heat fixing member 1 incorporating heating means 11, a rotary pressure member 2 held in contact with the heat fixing member 1, and heat controlling means controlling the surface temp. on the heat fixing member 1 to the specified set temp. by controlling the operation of the heating means 11, performs fixation of an unfixed toner image by allowing a recording sheet 6 to pass between the heat fixing member 1 and the pressure member 2, is provided with a cooling means 4 cooling the surface of the heat fixing member 1, while provided with the cooling means for letting the cooling means 4 operated to the extent of the specific time until the first recording sheet 6 is allowed to pass through. |
