PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic conference system wherein a conference smoothly and substantially progresses by providing attendees with a higher degree of freedom of utterance through signal processing of video signal and audio signal of the attendees. SOLUTION: An anonym setting device 8 is operated by depressing an operation button of a table, and voice information from a voice input section 11 is given to a voice modulation control section 16, in which original voice data are modulated in an unrecognizable way, whereas video information from a video input section 12 is mask-processed in an unidentifiable way by a video mask control section 14. The modulated voice signal undergoes signal processing at a voice control section 13, while the video signal resulting from mask processing undergoes signal processing at a video control section 15 and sent to a control unit 20. Thus, a speaker is selected by the voice signal from electronic conference terminal equipments 10a-10n, and the voice signal and the video signal are sent to the electronic conference terminal equipments 10a-10n, by which the electronic conference progresses by means of the video display and the voice output. An anonymous speaker cannot be identified by the modulated voice output at other conference place and the display video image subject to mask processing, thus can freely express his (her) opinion without hesitation and the conference progresses smoothly and substantially without bad feeling. |
