摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make detectableθrotation over a wide angle range with high resolution, by irradiating a reflecting face provided on an input member changing with operation input from the outside with a light from a light-emitting element, and permitting the reflected light to form a point-asymmetrical image which changes accompanying the change quantity of the reflecting face in a light reflection-type detector. SOLUTION: The light reflection-type detector 100 having the light-emitting element 110 and the light-receiving elements 112 in the center of an envelope 119 is arranged on the opening part of a substrate 135 from one side. The input member 150 is arranged on the other side of the opening part. The operation part 127 is brought into contact with the substrate 135 by protections 130. A contact area between the operation part 127 and the surface of the substrate 135 is reduced. A lateral sliding operation and aθrotation/sliding operation are smoothly executed. The reflecting face 132 provided for the input member 150 is formed to have the point-asymmetrical form which is not a real circle or a square. Thus, the form of the image of reflected light radiating the light receiving faces of the light-receiving elements 112 are set to be point- asymmetrical.</p>
