<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficiently wide dynamic range by supplying a sample signal along a feedback path, performing D/A conversion, and correcting source information by using feedback data showing an amplifier distortion part. SOLUTION: In a device 10, an information signal from a source 12 is supplied to a predistortion corrector 14 and an alias component is removed through an LPF 18. A predistorted signal is converted by an up converter 20, amplified by an amplifier 26, and outputted. Signal distortion due to the amplifier 26 is generated and corrected with the predistortion of the signal by the predistortion corrector 14. A device 30 branches the signal from the output of the amplifier 26 and supplies it to the feedback path. Along this path, the output 38 of an adding device 36 is supplied to the predistortion corrector 14 through an A/D converter 40 and the signal is analyzed there to measure whether or not the distortion due to the amplifier has been compensated. A delay device 44 holds the information signal for a certain period before supplying the signal to the adding device 36.</p> |
