PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of obtaining a stable image in every environment without being affected by the temperature and humidity of the environment. SOLUTION: In an image recording device in which a electrostatic latent image is formed by electrically charging and exposing a photoreceptor 41, and the development is carried out by sticking a toner image on this electrostatic latent image in the development process; the potential damping factor of the photoreceptor 41 due to exposure is made to have a positive characteristic to temperature and humidity, and also the initial charge potential of a charging device 42 is made to have a positive characteristic to temperature and humidity, and the photodischarge characteristic curve of the photoreceptor 41 at the time when temperature and humidity environments have changed is made to have a crossing region, so that the variations of the initial charge potential and the photoreceptor photodischarge characteristic due to the variations of temperature and humidity can be offset by the combination of these characteristics and further, the variation of latent image potential to the environmental variation can be restrained by carrying out the binary image exposure by the exposure value in the crossing region being the offset point. |
