PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector which can produce the soldered part of an electrical contact quickly with lesser labor and establish a method of manufacturing an electric contact assembly to be used in the connector. SOLUTION: An electrical connector 10 is composed of a cylindrical shell 20 in which a dielectric substance housing 44 is installed, an electrical contact 50, including a receptacle part 52 and arranged in a row form in the housing 44, a contacting part 71 to be fitted to the receptacle part 52, another electrical contact 63 having an end part 61 to be contacted with a conductor 54 of a cable 12, and dielectrical contact mounting members 85 and 89 on which the contact 63 is mounted into a row form. Thereby the contacting part 71 for each row of the contact 63 is connected with the receptacle part 52 of the corresponding row of the contact 50 of the housing 44.
