PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simultaneous verification with recording without generating a pseudo signal at the time of binarizing a verifying signal by reducing a spike noise in the verifying signal. SOLUTION: By supplying a gain changeover signal delayed by a prescribed time by means of a delay circuit 67 to a gain changeover circuit 65 removing a power modulation component due to the modulation of a recording spot by changing a gain for amplifying the output signal of a photodetector 31, a spike noise due to the delay of output of a LD driver 61 is reduced. When recording is performed by dividing one track into plural sectors, non-recording power is turned off except the objective sector to be recorded. |
