PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector cap and an electrical connector assembly in which a plurality of connectors are held at one time, whereby it is practicable to precisely locate the pitch direction of the contacts of each connector and also the direction perpendicular to the pitch direction and to surely preclude outward widening and inward narrowing of the contacts of the connector in the direction perpendicular to the pitch direction. SOLUTION: An electrical connector assembly 1 is composed of a plurality of electrical connectors 30 and 40 and a cap 10 for holding the connectors 30 and 40. The cap 10 has a plurality of location coordinate plates 23 and 24 which are formed protruding near the two ends of each of a plurality of cap parts. Each connector 30, 40 has plate fit-in grooves 35, 45 which is formed between a pair of extending side walls 34a and 34b, 44a and 44b extending from the end wall of the housing and where the plates 23, 24 are inserted along the extending sidewalls between them. |
