JOINT FOR WATER AND HOT WATER SUPPLY BY HEADER SHEATH PIPE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacture of a joint by forming the joint with a body and a welding part, and by using a synthetic resin with a specific Rockwell hardness or heat resistant temperature. SOLUTION: A body 1 formed by a synthetic resin material is formed by a connection part 12 provided with a screw 11 to be connected to a main cock and a molded part 13 to be connected to an EF and IH welding part. For the material of the body 1, a synthetic resin with Rockwell hardness >=R 120 or >=M 100 by the Rockwell hard D 785 test or heat resistant temperature >=170 deg.C for continuous use e.g. polyestersulfon(PES) or polyetherimide is used. By this, a joint can be obtained with extremely excellent heat resistance, favorable heat resistant creep characteristic and extremely high strength. Also, it is a noncrystalline substance excellent in water resistance and chemical resistance and harmless to food, and a joint using this body as a forming member can be used for a joint for hot water supply.
