<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce the size and weight of a pulling machine for setting the machine on a narrow electrical passage and to prevent cables from falling off, even if the number of cables are pulled and laid together. SOLUTION: Instead of spherical balls, vertically long egg-shaped balls (EG balls) are employed, and a single-type drive power supply 18 (electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic) whose capacity is increased is employed instead of a pair- type power supply to reduce the weight of a machine. Further, a pressing roller is provided on an upper stage to prepare a type of machine whose height is further reduced. In order to pull a number of cables together, which not possible with the spherical ball type machine, a horizontal axis rotation is employed instead of a vertical axis rotation. Further, in order to prevent the cables from being twined when the cables are pulled together, comb-shaped rollers are placed in front of and behind cable-pulling machine respectively.</p> |
