PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle information terminal that makes it possible to easily judge the region of received information and makes it possible to know information on a desired region out of the received information. SOLUTION: Character information is received by a text broadcasting reception part (Step 1: YES), and a corresponding region by position data on the received character information is contained in a road map being displayed on a display part. Then, the display part is controlled by an on-vehicle-side control part, and a reception mark indicating the region is displayed on the road map being displayed (Steps S2, S3, S4). In addition, a local database part is controlled by the on-vehicle-side control part, and character information on other regions is stored (Step S5). When any reception mark is selected (Step S7: YES) on the display of the reception mark (Step S6: YES), character information on a region corresponding to the reception mark selected by the on-vehicle- side control part is read out from the local database part so as to be displayed on the display part (Step S8). |
