<p>A flip-up label holder (15) for pivotal mounting on a cross bar (14) at the outer end of a merchandise display hook (10). An improved form of mounting clip (21) is provided on the label holder to facilitate mounting of the label holder and to enhance the security by which the label holder is retained thereon. The mounting clip defines a narrow throat (30) through which the cross bar is forced when mounting the label holder. The new label holder includes one or more angularly disposed rib-like projections (31) engageable with the cross bar during mounting to facilitate the camming open of the throat. Once mounted, the projections inhibit the return of the cross bar through the throat thus retaining the label holder.</p> |
