The frame comprises an L-section door-stop frame to which L-section cladding is screwed. The stop-frame and cladding enclose the wall, and their flanges opposite the hinge-end partly overlap. Anchoring ribs secure the frame to the wall. The stop-frame (20) is heat-insulated where its L-shaped flange is screwed to the cladding (10), typically using a plastic strip (50), preferably polyamide, inserted between flange and cladding. The ribs (60) can be joined to the short portion (21) of the flange enclosing the wall (1), preferably by clamping.
