The invention concerns a DNA molecule containing a DNA sequence whereof the expression product has a common peptide sequence with part of that of CFTR, in particular the one extending from the 430<th> to the 660<th> residue of the latter and having a glutathione carrier function. Said DNA molecule is useful for constructing vectors useful in gene therapy for treating cystic fibrosis.
