The operating method controls the HF generator (8) of the ultrasonic therapy device for providing successive electrical signals with different discrete frequency values (f1,f,2,f,3,f4,f5) lying within a defined frequency band. The whole multiples of the discrete frequencies lie outside a frequency band corresponding to the reception band of a diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging device.
