The foldable upright has a tube (a) on which the through-bored tow ball (b) is fitted. There is a sole plate (f) which is rotatably mounted. A second bolt (d) has a shaft (e) extending perpendicularly to it onto which the bore of the ball is fitted. the second bolt is received in a notch in the walls of the base plate. The lower double angled end of the tube is inserted into the shoe plate, with the locking bolt (c) inserted through the aligned bores.
