摘要 <p>An optical element (10) which comprises as shown in the figure an input optical member (11) molded to a unitary body by arranging a plurality of optical fibers (14) in parallel with each other, and having incident and emergent surfaces (11a, 11b) which make angles of 31° and 90° respectively to an optical axis, and an output optical member (12) also molded to a unitary body by arranging a plurality of optical fibers (14) in parallel with each other, and having incident and emergent surfaces (12a, 12b) which make angles of 31° and 90° respectively to an optical axis, wherein the emergent surface (11b) of the input optical member (11) and the incident surface (12a) of the output optical member (12) are fixed to each other in a contacting state, the emergent surface (11b) of the input optical member (11) is polished optically to a specular surface and the incident surface (12a) as a whole of the output optical member (12) is polished coarsely so as to provide a center line average coarseness of 0.49 νm.</p>
