INTERMITTENT ADJUSTING METHOD OF FRAME PHASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method to perform high speed communication or long distance communication in a communication system to measure a transmission delay amount by using a phase adjustment channel and to perform bi-directional communication. SOLUTION: The communication system to which the method is adapted is constituted by providing an incoming frame to perform bi-directional time division multiplex transmission between main equipment and subordinate equipment with the phase adjustment channel to measure the transmission delay amount from the subordinate equipment to the main equipment. In this case, the high speed communication or the long distance communication is enabled by providing a transmission band by measuring the transmission delay amount between communication equipment 20 at a station side to be the main equipment and communication equipment 30 at a subscriber side to be the subordinate equipment by an intermittent frame cycle, transmitting and receiving an information frame to the phase adjustment channel in a frame cycle in which the transmission delay amount is not measured.
