<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally operate a receiver by preventing fluctuation of delay time generated when plural asynchronous transport streams are multiplexed. SOLUTION: When a signal compressed and encoded by different clocks or plural streams with different transmission bit rates are multiplexed, desired signal to be re-multiplexed is selected from a packet identifier extraction part 1 and a packet filter 11, a corrected PCR (program time reference value) is simultaneously calculated by correcting processing time from input to output of a packet including a PCR at PCR correction parts of a clock generation part 3 and a counter part 2 and the corrected PCR is replaced 9 with the received PCR. In this way, plural transport streams TSs are multiplexed and outputted as one transport stream and clock regeneration of the receiver is stably operated. The different transmission bit rates are multiplexed by performing multiplex control. In addition, the fluctuation of the PCR is absorbed by calculating an average of errors even when the input of a multiplexer is fluctuated.</p> |
