The stacking system for printed paper materials has a holder (16) to gather the paper products to be stacked, and at least one further holder (18) with a vertical sliding movement. A rotating station (12,14) is below the holders (16,18). The top dead centre (OT) of at least one holder (16,18) is directly below the material feed, and the bottom dead centre (UT) of at least one holder (16,18) is directly over the rotating station.
