Fuel air mixer for oil burner

The mixer creates a foam of fuel and air in a chamber (9) with a vaned wheel. Air is added to the fuel to generate the foam, before it is fed into the chamber, preferably between 0.5% and 5% by volume, relative to atmospheric pressure. The air adder may consists of a main body (12) with a fuel passage, and lies in the fuel pipe (2). A tube projects through the body's wall and extends along the fuel flow direction. The tube has a throttle valve for the air supply. The air intake to the valve chamber has a sintered filter.
