Multi-section glass pane-holding strip for high security applications

The strip comprises a basic profiled portion and an angular auxiliary one. A strip on the basic one bears at right angles against the inside surface of the pane. The auxiliary portion (5) has a flange (11) parallel to the pane (2) and permanently secured in a groove (10) in the basic one (3). Its other flange (12) extends at right angles towards the pane, and renders the sealant (6) inaccessible. The two portions can be permanently clamped, screwed and/or glued together.
