(Meth)acrylic acid ester(s) with improved inhibition efficiency

A process for the stabilisation as a pure substance or a component of a mixture that does not contain a Bronsted acid having a Bronsted acid strength greater than that of acrylic acid, of esters of (meth)acrylic acid against unwanted radical polymerisation is claimed by the addition of a p-phenylene diamine containing polymerisation inhibitor. The pure substance or mixture of polymerisation inhibitors contains (A) at least a nitroxy radical and/or at least an organic compound that contains at least a nitroso group; and (B) at least a p-phenylenediamine.
