Internal combustion engine fuel injection system

A jetting pump (1) supplies fuel from a reservoir (2) to a jetting reservoir (3). A fuel injector (5) connected through a fuel feeder (4) to the jetting reservoir injects fuel into the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. Between the jetting reservoir and an injection nozzle (7) a modulating device controls the cycle of fuel amounts to be injected, fitted with a modulating valve with an adjustable opening area.
