The cube-shaped crate is a structure of slat bars (2a,5a) which can be wound in a coil. The crate is assembled by unwinding the slat bars, and locking them together with wall units (19,20). The slat bars are linked together along their longitudinal edges for winding, to give the base (6) and side walls (2,3) when opened out.
