<p>CD-discs and CD-racks have found widespread use, but poor lighting conditions combined with the fact that the text field on the side edge of a CD-cassette is very slim often leads to problems with respect to the finding of selected CD-discs. The invention provides for a lighting system, preferably for a CD-rack (32) comprising a lamp (2) of the kind that comprises a carrier body (4) which in form and size corresponds to a standard CD-cassette and like a standard CD-cassette is insertable in a CD-rack. The carrier body (4) includes a source of light (10) connected to a power source. The special feature of the invention is that the carrier body (4) comprises at least one support member (6) projecting from one edge of the carrier body (4) and holding at least one powerful source of light (10) for illumination of preferably the front surface of the CD-rack in which the carrier body (4) is inserted. The projecting support (6) provides for a suitable angle of incidence of the emitted light on the front surface of the CD-rack.</p> |
