The mobile pincer (1) slides along a vertical support shaft (2) for at least partial penetration into stacked horse hairs (5) in a magazine. An elastic pressure is applied temporarily at an end of the hair extraction assembly against the support surface at the level of the stacked hairs (5). A hair feed is claimed as well. Also claimed is an operation where, before taking a hair, the hook point (8) is supported on a pad (10) and the spring (9) is under a slight compression or no compression as the limit stop (3) is supported against the housing (4) of a magazine of hairs.
