A holding device e.g. a clothes peg, comprises two clamping members (10,11); a hinge portion (16); and a spring element (24); all these parts being integrally moulded from a plastics material and the spring element being connected to one of said clamping members and having been moulded in a position in which apart from its connection to said one clamping member it is clear of said clamping members, and displaced to an operative position in which it engages the other clamping member for spring biasing the clamping members relative to one another. |
