PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cold insulator capable of refrigerating efficiently and inexpensively vegetables without the need of enlarging a volume of the vegetable case and without the fear of damaging the vegetables contained therein by freezing and solidifying the cold insulator so as to take a plate shape with a triangle cross section. SOLUTION: This cold insulator 1 obtained by enclosing a cold-accumulating liquid with a synthetic resin bag takes a plate shape with a triangle cross section. Also, the insulator is formed by enclosing the cold-accumulating liquid with the synthetic resin bag whose outline is approximately rectangular, piling up a plurality of the enclosed cold insulators so as to prevent one side edges of the adjoining insulators from overlapping before the insulators get gelled, and then freezing them for solidification so as to shape their cross sections into a triangle. The other method is conducted by freezing once the cold insulator 1 enclosed with the synthetic resin bag for solidification, returning its temperature to ice temperatures (-2 to 0 deg.C), and refrigerating vegetables under this temperature, thus keeping their lives. |
