PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject additive, stable in a production process and preservation and capable of manifesting ascorbic activities for a wide range of marine fishes by including salts of L-ascorbic acid 2 phosphate as an active ingredient therein. SOLUTION: This additive is obtained by including (A) an active ingredient composed of salts of L-ascorbic acid 2-phosphate and, as necessary, (B) vitamins other than vitamin C, minerals, etc. The ingredient may be a substance capable of forming the salts with the L-ascorbic 2 phosphate; however, sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium salts are preferred. The amount of the ingredient A used and added is determined by the species of cultured fishes to be an object, purpose of use and feed ingredient and composition added and mixed, etc. A rainow trout, a londlocked trout, a silver salmon, a sweetfish, a dwarf rill trout, a masu trout, a young yellowtail, a sea bream, a carp, an eel, etc., are cited as the fish species to be the object. |
