PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously prevent the inconvenience of detecting failure and recording/writing failure by arranging a paper powder suction pipe having paper powder sucking holes in the paper width direction along a paper carrying passage, connecting it to a gas sucking means communicating with the outside of a machine, and removing paper powder every time. SOLUTION: A paper powder suction pipe 10 is arranged under a recording head 2 in the axial direction of a platen 1. A large number of pores 11 are arranged over the total length on an upper outer peripheral surface of this paper powder suction pipe 10, and are constituted so as to discharge paper powder outside through an exhaust duct 15 by sucking paper powder sticking to a paper sheet S and paper powder generated in a carrying process or the like to the inside through the pores 11. Then, the paper powder sticking to the paper sheet S is sucked/removed before performing recording/writing, and mesh-clogging of a nozzle in an ink jet head and mesh-clogging of a wire guide hole in an impact dot head can be previously prevented. Therefore, various malfunctions caused by the paper powder can be previously prevented. |
