PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit forward flow of ink even in the case of bringing about an accident of dropping an end ball owing to deformation or wear by forcible writing or dropping impact in a coating applicator for containing aqueous or oily writing ink or wrong character concealing eraser as coating liquid. SOLUTION: In the coating applicator comprising an end ball 11, a holder 9 having a ball seat 10a, a clearance for passing coating liquid between an inner surface of a ball embracing part 10 of an end of the holder 9 and the ball 11, and a coater 8 having an elastic member 13 for pressing a back surface of the ball 11 to watertightly seal between the inner surface of the part 10 and the ball 11 and clamped at an end of a body container having flexibility to easily press the coater 8, a step 9b is provided on a rear surface of a guide hole 10c of the holder 9 for bringing the liquid in continuity to the ball 11. And, a contact part 12b cooperating with the member 12 is provided oppsitely at the step 9b so that at the time of bringing the part 12b into contact with the step 9b, a watertight state is provided between the part 12b and the step 9b. |
