The tube leading to the shower head has a bent part for resting the attachment on top of the bowl, and the shower head is oriented in a horizontal direction. The attachment comprises a tube (18) with a shower head at one end, and close to the shower head end the tube has a bent part (13) that rests on top of the bowl (2). The shower head is positioned above the top surface of the bowl and below the toilet seat, and points in a horizontal position. An Independent claim is also included for an assembly kit used to mount the shower attachment on a toilet bowl, including the above shower head and tube, as well as a clamp coupling (10) and closure valve (11) for connecting the tube to a water pipe (6).
