PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn OFF a motive power source without assistance from a maintenance engineer by providing a motive power supply cutting-off means for turning ON/OFF an operation power source by a remote control command and turning OFF the motive power source by the motive power supply cutting-off means after an elevator car is moved/stopped at a specified story by a specified remote control command. SOLUTION: During the normal running of an elevator, an investigation is made as to the existence of the inputting of the running stop command of a control microcomputer 6 in a remote control device 5 through a telephone line 3 from an elevator maintenance company 1. In this case, when there is a running stop command, its signal is received by an elevator control part 7, the elevator is moved and stopped at a specified floor by erasing all calls, and a door is opened. Then, the door opening is continued, and after 30 seconds for example, the door is closed to turn OFF a motive power source. Thus, when a remote control command for stopping elevator running is received from the elevator maintenance company 1, after the elevator car is moved and stopped at a specified floor, the motive power source is automatically turned OFF, and thereby power and labor are saved for stopping the elevator. |
