<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head controller for producing a stamp print face in which clogging with a bubble is prevented from being generated while exceeding over a range required for a stamp print face and thin lines in a print is prevented from disappearing. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 (central processing unit) reads out a print data stored at a memory section 2. The memory section 2 stores a data to be printed on a stamp print face transferred from a host computer (not shown). The CPU 1 transfers a print data being read out to an operating section 3 performing print pattern processing. The operating section 3 reads the pattern data into its own shift register and performs print pattern processing. The print pattern processing is performed in order to prevent a fine character from disappearing due to thermal deformation of a polyethylene foamed sheet at the time of forming a stamp print face. More specifically, the CPU 1 controls thermal energy of a dot at the boundary part between the printing and nonprinting parts of a thermal head 5 through a control section 4.</p> |
