PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of noise from a motor with a cooling fan and perform temperature control of the motor with higher accuracy than that of a conventional method. SOLUTION: The temperature of a stator of a motor M is detected by a temperature detecting sensor Th. A driving control part 102 of a cooling fan FM controls driving of the cooling fan FM to change the rotating speed of the cooling fan FM so that the temperature of the stator does not exceed the allowable upper limit temperature according to the temperature of the stator of the motor M without stopping the cooling fan FM during driving control. The driving control part 102 stops the cooling fan FM during preheating operation of the motor M.
