PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and insertability to the inside of a body cavity by forming a conductive wire of a single wire which is constructed of a highly flexible tip part and a base end part with rigidity higher than that of the tip part. SOLUTION: A single conductive wire 3, which is made of metal and connected to a high frequency power source device, is passed through the internal hole in a sheath 1 main body, and the tip of the conductive wire 3 is exposed to the outside of the sheath 1 so as to be formed into a treatment electrode part 3c, while the tip part is fixed in the end of the sheath 1 main body. The base end of the conductive wire 3 is fixed to a slider in an operation unit by means of a fixing means. Then, the conductive wire 3 is constructed of a single wire in which the tip part A and the base end part B are formed integrally and a circular cross section is provided, and the diameter of the tip part A on the tip side beyond a boundary part 3b, which is a taper type level difference, is set to be smaller than that of the base end part B on the base end side beyond the boundary part 3b. In this way, flexibility of the tip part of the conductive wire 3 is increased as against that of the base end part, that is, rigidity of the tip part is lowered than that of the base end part. |
